Samsung’s new Series 9 ultrabook is the most stunning laptop out there
Samsung unveiled the new Series 9 ultrabook yesterday, at the IFA conference in Europe. This gorgeous 13-inch laptop comes with a 2,560 x 1,440 display and matte finish along with a DPI of 225, denser even than Apple’s 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro, which has 220. While it’s just a prototype, Samsung has told the public that there are few things that needs to be fixed before this goes into production, which won’t happen anytime this year.
We have no clue about the specifications of this ultrabook, but we expect a Core i7 processor, 6GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD to be inside that monster. Price? Certainly not cheap, but not too expensive either. The Series 9 ultrabook is the most expensive laptop from Samsung; the previous model used to cost $1400 and we expect this one to be in the $1600-1800 range. Although this Series 9 with 2560×1440 pixels won’t be available in the near future, a version of this thin notebook with a Full HD screen will be released shortly, Samsung says.
