As much as you’re unhappy, so we are at SkotGat seeing a great online photo editing site Picnik shut down this April 19th which is tomorrow so it’s just one more day to go when the world will start looking for Picnik alternatives or maybe they already have started looking for Picnik alternatives. The demise of the popular online photo-editing service has been met with scorn from fans, who are unhappy with Google’s decision to kill one of the web’s best free tools in the name of consolidation. Maybe, that’s what I’m here for to give you some awesome Picnik alternatives.

There’s no need to panic, however. While Picnik will be missed, there are some solid alternatives available that are just as free. I’m listing down all those 3 alternatives which are surely worth a bookmark and will surely be used as a Picnik alternative.

As you know, Picnik has been acquired by Google, this is the place where Picnik is actually being shifted. You can continue to use this great online photo editing tool by using Google+ creative kit in your Google+ profile. All you have to do is to upload a photo you want to edit to your Google+ profile, open it and then look for “Creative kit” on the upper left side of the photo browser screen. That’s where the picnik is! As simple as that.

2. PicMonkey

Actually built by the original builders of Picnik itself, this service is a real good, quick, fresh, fast alternative to Picnik and I think I’ll be adopting to this service as my alternative to Picnik because it looked quite promising when I started using it. The user interface is quite seamless, no glitches as I could find in my short term of usage.
