All You Need to Know About Samsung Galaxy S5
On the occasion of the classic Unpacked in Barcelona, Samsung unveils the new Galaxy S5 . Available in 4 different colors (black, blue, gold and white) is focusing on connectivity. Available with 4G connectivity, download booster, resistance to contact with liquids and dust, 5.1 “Super AMOLED Full HD display, 16-megapixel camera and 2800 mAh battery, all enclosed in a product from the classic form factor but from a revised design, especially for the back cover, and the UI revisited.
Here, we’ve got everything you need to know about the new waterproof, dust-proof, fingerprint sensor-packing, HD screen flashing and rad software-toting flagship. In short? It sounds freaking awesome.
Samsung also released their gears with the launch event. From simple and if we are unsuccessful experiment, Gear includes a complete range of products for different needs. We already know the new Gear 2, but today we did not know of the existence of the new Gear Fit . This is indicated for the world of sports, has a curved Super AMOLED display that can be extracted from the strap, it weighs only 27 grams and its operation is obviously coordinated S-Health. Coming into the market in April, at a price still unknown.
The GS5 offers a top-of-the-line 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM, an IR remote, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 BLE/ANT+, Cat 4 LTE (up to 150Mbps down/50Mbps up) and your choice of 16GB or 32GB of internal storage; oddly, 64GB doesn’t appear to be an option, though you can add up to 64GB via a microSD card if needed.
No word on price yet (read: likely to be expensive), but we’re hearing that it’s headed to all three major carriers — Optus, Vodafone and Telstra — for an April release date and said to be releasing in total of 150 countries simultaneously so that’s quite a wide launch I’d say.
