Exclusive Invites to CloudUp : Easy and Secure File Sharing Alternative to Droplr

Recently, Droplr announced that they’ll be discontinuing their free tier service for the users to share their files securely leaving bunch of users with no clue what to do with insufficient budget to find an option and here we have it : CloudUp. Acquired by Automattic back in September 2013, offering same features as Droplr with a better UI.We have exclusive invites for the readers of newly designed SkotGat. Check ’em out!

Cloudup lets you instantly and securely stream videos, photos, music, links, and files to anyone. By simply dragging and dropping files or links to your account, you can share streams without waiting for uploads or downloads, and at no cost. Rock out to your favorite YouTube and Soundcloud links; share beautiful picture and video galleries; or send over top secret docs to your boss. It’s safe, secure, and flexible to suit your needs for work or play.

It has a standalone app for Mac users with which they can make use of all the features available on the website through the app itself and as per the tests I’ve done, it works seamlessly amazing and it’s so easy to use with the drag and drop feature.

Much like iPhoto for iOS has PhotoStream, Cloudup has streams as well that you can set up with people, and then invite them to view everything that’s been shared in the stream. It’s ideal for teams who work remotely that need to share files constantly.

CloudUp isn’t open to public yet but the folks up there being a nice friend and were able to spare us some exclusive invites for the readers so that they don’t have to wait for any queue to get into the service and start using it and move all of their files quickly before droplr shuts down their free services.

This free account will allow you to upload 1000 files (files can be upto 200MB in size) and the paid option will be rolling out shortly for which we have very less details so we decided not to burst a bubble yet. The insider news is that they’re already working for an app for iPhone and iPad so the users are in for a big treat.

We have a special signup link which will allow you to get into CloudUp and start using it so the sooner the better before the link runs out of invites and once it’s gone, it’s gone. So hurry up, all you have to do is to follow the link below :
